New Camera

I finally got the new, fancy camera I have been wanting but have no idea how to use it. There are so many different modes to shoot in, flash, no flash, ISO, AF...I dont know what any of it means! I am reading the manual though and I ordered a book from amazon so hopefully I get this crazy thing figured out soon. So far the only way I can take a decent picture, is if I use the Automatic setting. Here are the first few I took. Much better than my other camera but hopefully I will learn how to take even better ones.

Like I said, still learning with this camera but I think I got a few cute ones today :)

Patrick & Teri

Pat is finishing up his Field Development for State Farm and will take over his agency March 1, 2010. He is so excited to be starting this new career and I honestly couldn't be more proud of him. He has worked so hard for this and it is such an AMAZING opportunity. He is incredible! Other than work, he is a HUGE sports fan and watches all Chicago sports religously. He's hoping Connor will follow in his footsteps and become a jock just like he was :)

I am a stay at home mom who recently started my own photography business. Please do not judge me based solely on my photos of Connor. Ha! I don't always focus so much on the perfect exposure or focus when I take photos of him. I am simply capturing a moment. Anyway, Little Moments has become my passion and I have put so much work into it. Business has been so much better than I ever could have expected and I am so thankful for that. My dream for the distant future is to build my own studio on our property and have it be my studio/boutique. I would love to sell the adorable baby/toddler gear that I use for all of my photo shoots. Right now though I am focused on just the photography side of things and I am loving every minute of it.

Our Story

Patrick and I met in August 2002 at a restaurant we both worked at. We started dating a few years later in 2004 and moved in together in July 2005. Pat proposed after a weekend getaway for my birthday in January 2006 and we were married July 21, 2007. In 2008 we decided it was time to expand our little family and on October 11, I received amazing news...I was PREGNANT! On June 8, 2009, we welcomed our beautiful son, Connor, and he was perfect. He is silly and funny and he has the key to my heart.

As for the future, we are hoping to add to our little family and make Connor a big brother sometime next year. He definitely needs a little sister ;)
